Your painting is produced using gesso mixed with marble dust* on a hardwood panel with a ¾ - 1½” thick support.

Prices are for a single pet image
If you wish to include a second pet my recommendation is to consider an 18 x 18” support as a minimum. The addition of a second pet will add to the price of the painting, which we can discuss.
The preferred orientation of the painting is portrait v. landscape (horizontal) but we can consult regarding your composition.
*Marble dust is added to gesso to increase its texture, absorbency and structural strength, providing a superior, firm ground for painting and gilding. It creates a toothy surface that improves paint adhesion, allowing for better handling of oil, acrylic, or watercolor paints. It is sendable and can be carved into.
The addition of ground marble to the gesso paste was a preferred method used by the Renaissance Masters because of these properties.

As the size of the support increases it's possible to include more and more of your pets body or to do something interesting with the painting.
Larger sizes could start to incorporate landscape elements, favorite pet toys or anything else that has meaning for you about your pet.
